Frequently asked questions

What kind of PDFs work with Sewsaic?
Any vector or print-ready sewing pattern PDF. Sewsaic tiles large sheets onto multiple A4 or US Letter pages. Patterns that already fit on one page need at least two tiled pages to qualify.
Can I use A4 and US Letter?
Yes. Choose your paper size before previewing. Margins and overlap are configurable on Plus and Pro tiers.
How do alignment marks help?
Tape-together marks print on shared edges so you can match pages when assembling. Standard includes Sewsaic dots; Plus and Pro add icons, edge numbers, or your own artwork.
Is my pattern private?
Yes. We do not use AI on your files, sell your patterns, or run ad trackers. Before payment, tiling and preview happen locally. After payment, your tiled PDF is stored for seven days so you can re-download, then deleted.
How much does it cost?
$1.00 plus $0.50 per print page (minimum two pages), in USD. Optional Plus and Pro tiers add mark icons and layout controls.
Can I preview before paying?
Always. You see every tiled page in the preview carousel before entering checkout — what you see is what prints.
